Mark Naciero - The Brown sophomore forward led his team to two wins on the weekend to capture the Liberty Hockey Invitational. The Milford, Conn. native had two goals and an assist in his team's upset win over Yale in the first game. The next night later he registered a goal and three assists as the Bears upended Dartmouth. Naciero was named the tournament's MVP while linemates Matt Lorito and Nick Lappin also had good weekends.

Matt Carey - The younger brother of 2013 Hobey Baker Award finalist Greg had a terrific two games as St. Lawrence split its weekend series with Northeastern. The redshirt freshman tallied three goals and added two assists. The Hamilton, Ont. native notched the game-winner in Saturday's victory. He now has four goals and three assists on the season.

Joel Lowry - The Cornell junior forward had two goals and two assists on the weekend including the game-winning goal in Saturday's 4-3 victory over Nebraska-Omaha. The Los Angeles Kings prospect helped the Big Red sweep the weekend series against the NCHC's UNO Mavericks. Cornell was outshot 71-33 on the weekend, but Mike Schafer's team picked their spots en route to the two wins.
Notes: Quinnipiac freshman Sam Anas had three goals in his team's weekend sweep over Holy Cross. The Potomac, Md. native now has a team-leading six goals on the season. Half of his goals are of the game-winning variety. Sophomore forward Travis St. Denis also had three goals on the weekend. Rand Pecknold's team has won six in a row following a season opening loss against Alaska-Anchorage... Harvard sophomore Kyle Criscuolo scored two goals in his team's season opening win over Bentley... Clarkson freshman goaltender Steve Perry made 18 saves in his team's 1-0 overtime victory over Colorado College. He now has two shutouts in four starts for a 1.20 goals against average and .948 save percentage. The Golden Knights are 6-1-1 on the season after being picked last by both the coaches and media in their respective ECAC Preseason Polls...RPI junior forward Ryan Haggerty scored a goal in his team's 4-2 victory over UNH on Saturday night to increase his season total to eight, which has him tied with Miami's Riley Barber for the national lead.
