RPI Squanders Three Goal Lead, Ties Harvard 3-3
Sometimes two teams can view a tie very differently. That was the case Tuesday night at the Houston Field House as RPI squandered a 3-0 lead, and had to settle for a tie with Harvard.

Harvard at RPI: Pregame Notes
ECAC conference play begins tonight at the Houston Field House with RPI hosting Harvard. Last season each team won on home ice. The Engineers won 3-0 on February 1 and the Crimson were victorious earlier in the season at Bright Arena, 4-0.

Clarkson Off to Hot Start
The Golden Knights, picked 12th in both the preseason ECAC coaches and media polls, sit at 6-1-1. Casey Jones, now in his third year behind the bench in Potsdam, has instilled some of the defensive philosophies he learned from his years at Cornell.

Brown Wins Liberty Hockey Invitational
Brendan Whittet's team, picked to finish eighth by both the media and coaches in the preseason polls, is off to a 2-0 start after winning both games at this weekend's Liberty Hockey Invitational at the Prudential Center.

ECAC Hockey Three Stars of the Weekend
Brown sophomore forward Mark Naciero, St. Lawrence redshirt freshman Matt Carey and Cornell junior forward Joel Lowry were the three stars of the weekend in ECAC Hockey action. Quinnipiac freshman forward Sam Anas had three goals of his own.

Girard, Harvard Shuts Out Bentley
After playing Bentley even through the first period, two Crimson goals in a span of 13 seconds in the second period were enough to push Harvard past the visiting Falcons. Harvard went on to win 3-0 in the Crimson's first game of the season.

Harvard vs. Bentley Pregame Lines
Harvard and Bentley are set to face off at Bright Arena Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. Raphael Girard will get the start in net for Harvard and Branden Komm gets the nod for the Bentley Falcons.

ECAC Takes Two of Three Games Against NCHC
Cornell defeated Nebraska-Omaha and Clarkson defeated Colorado College while Colgate fell at home to St. Cloud State in the three games pitting the ECAC against the NCHC.

Brown drops Yale in Liberty Invitational
The defending national champion Yale University fell in its season opener Friday afternoon in the first game of the Liberty Invitational at the Prudential Center. Brown defeated the Bulldogs by a score of 4-1 in the first game of the day.
