The 2017 Hockey Essentials Northeastern College Showcase takes place Monday, July 24 through Thursday, July 27 at the Woodbridge Community Center in Woodbridge, N.J.
Prospects born between 1997 and 2002 will take part in the event that a slew of NCAA coaches and NHL scouts are scheduled to attend. Several schools from Hockey East, ECAC Hockey, Atlantic Hockey and NESCAC will be represented as well as NHL organizations from both the Eastern Conference and Western Conference.
In addition to games and practices, camp attendees will also have the opportunity to hear from coaches and scouts at a question and answer symposium Wednesday night.
There are two divisions at the camp — U20 and U16 — with practices starting Monday. The event concludes with two All-Star Games on Thursday.
Hockey Essentials is a player advisory and spring and summer tournament organization run by Paul Losik, Mark Lotito, Vinny Smith and Bobby Gauthier.
SB Nation College Hockey will have a recap of the showcase following the event.
