The Boston Junior Bruins Shootout will take place this weekend, mainly at the New England Sports Center in Marlboro, Mass.
The USPHL will have all of their divisions there and there will be guest teams made of split season midget teams and some others. The two big areas of focus for scouts and college coaches will be the USPHL Premier Division games and 16U games.
Teams from outside of the New England region that are worth watching are the Skipjacks 16U and Jersey Hitmen 16U. The Selects Academy at South Kent 16U and 15U teams will both be there, and are definitely worth watching. The Boston Junior Bruins 16U team, led by Northeastern recruit Robbie Griffin and Maine commit Max Bogdanovich, will also be there.
