The Super Series AAA Showdown at Chelsea Piers will bring together many of the top 2002 teams in the northeast region this weekend, September 23-25.
Mid-Fairfield Rangers, New Jersey Devils, Syracuse Nationals and Westchester Express will all be playing here a week after taking part in the USHL Fall Classic East Youth Tournament. Joining them will be the Boston Junior Eagles, Islanders Hockey Club, Minuteman Flames, New Jersey Colonials, North Jersey Avalanche, and South Shore Kings.
All but two of the 25 games will be played at the rinks at Chelsea Piers in Stamford, Conn. Two games on Sunday will be played at the Twin Rinks at Stamford. There is also a 2003 event going on simultaneously.
