Salisbury forward Jacques Bouquot verbally committed to play college hockey for Boston College on Saturday. A 2000-born forward from South Windsor, Conn., he was a first year sophomore for the Knights this past season.
Bouquot has pro size already with a good skill set. He's solid below the dots, skates well and has good hands. He's a possession type forward who can battle along the wall as well as hold onto the puck for long stretches.
He was selected in the fourth round of this month's USHL Phase I Futures Draft by the Sioux City Musketeers. However, he'll likely be back at Salisbury for his junior season. Look for Bouquot to matriculate to play for the Eagles in either the fall of 2018 or 2019. He's eligible for the 2018 NHL Draft as an early 2000.
