The 2016 World Selects Invitational runs Wednesday through Sunday at Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, NJ and Flyers Skate Zone in Pennsauken, NJ, both suburbs of Philadelphia. The WSI brings together many of the top 2001-born hockey players from across the globe. There are 22 teams from the United States, Canada and Europe.
It's the unofficial start to the scouting season for the birth year that will be eligible in next spring's USHL, OHL and QMJHL drafts. The event is part of a series of showcases run by Legacy Global Sports.
