Adam Brady suffered a serious injury in a car accident over the Christmas break, but that didn't stop him from reaching his goal of accepting an offer to play college hockey.

The Delhi, Ontario native plans to lace up the skates for Tom Serratore's Bemidji State Beavers this fall. Brady, a '95 left shot center, had nine goals and 15 assists in 27 games for the Lincoln Stars before the injury cut his season short.

The junior hockey journeyman had previously put up huge numbers in the Ontario Junior Hockey League with the Kingston Voyageurs and Hamilton Red Wings. It is still unclear how close Brady is to a full recovery where he can be the player he once was, but it's a great story nonetheless.
