Brookings Blizzards forward Griff Jeszka is the first new recruit of the Greg Carvel era at the University of Massachusetts. The '95 is a left-shot who played the past three seasons in the North American Hockey League (NAHL).
A native of Muskego, Wis., Jeszka is a playmaker who racked up 15 goals and 33 assists in 59 regular season games this winter. He added three goals and a helper in the playoffs.
"I am very excited and humbled to have the opportunity to play for Coach Carvel and his staff at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I want to thank the community of Brookings and the Brookings Blizzard organization, all of my coaches, teammates, family, and friends for helping me reach my goals," Jeszka said in the team's press release.
