Nate Leaman loves speed when it comes to his coaching style and the players he likes to bring into Providence. That's why Boston Junior Bruins 18U forward Matt Gould is a perfect match for the Friars.

The Weymouth, Mass. native committed to play college hockey for Leaman's Friars over the weekend. Gould is one of the fastest 2000-born players in the country. His speed and skating ability are certainly his biggest attributes. He moves the puck well, promotes possession for his team and has a good overall offensive skill set.

Gould was selected by the Sioux Falls Stampede in the second round of the USHL Phase I Futures Draft earlier this month.
