The Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) announced the field and seeds for the 2016 Super 8 Tournament on Saturday.

Malden Catholic, the three-time defending, champion is the No. 3 seed while Pope Francis is the No. 2 seed. Three Middlesex League teams, Burlington, Reading and Arlington, got into the tournament, matching the total from the Catholic Conference.
