USHL Futures Draft: 2000-Born New England Prospects

2000-born players are eligible for the 2016 USHL Futures (Phase I) Draft that takes place in May. The following list was compiled from viewings at this past July's USA Hockey Select 15 Player Development Camp, midget tournaments, and prep and high school games across New England.

Jake Wise, T.J. Walsh, Joel Farabee and Oliver Wahlstrom are the top forward prospects in this age group, and are likely candidates to make the US National Team Development Program (US NTDP). Kimball Union defensemen Jordan Harris is a 2000-born prospect who has improved a great deal since last summer's national camp.

Only one player, Norwegian-born Emillio Pettersen, has been tendered so far. He was picked up by the Omaha Lancers. He's been superb in viewings of Selects Academy. Most tenders don't occur until later in the year because U.S. players are waiting to see if they are selected for the NTDP.

This list only includes eligible 2000-born players from or playing in New England. Notes, game reports and player evaluations on the below players can be obtained via email. The list, in PDF format, is in alphabetical order.
