Elk River(Minnesota) High School 2000-born forward Jack Perbix announced via Twitter that he has committed to Notre Dame:
I am honored and excited to announce my commitment to play hockey and continue my education at the University of Notre Dame. #Irish

Perbix is a smaller, very quick forward that loves to play with the puck on his stick and drive possession. After a decent showing this fall as one of the few 2000-birthdates on the Minnesota Blades U16 AAA team, Perbix has put together an excellent high school season for the Elks. He currently has 4-9-13 in 14 games against very strong competition. Perbix is currently in the ninth grade, so the earliest he could potentially join the Irish would be the 2019-2020 season.
Perbix is the third 2000-born player to commit to the Irish, joining Chicago Mission's Jacob Pivonka and fellow Minnesotan Trevor Janicke.
