Injured Robinson sidelined until January

Matt Dewkett

University of New Hampshire recruit and Boston Junior Bruins goaltender Mike Robinson will be sidelined until January with a broken wrist.

The Bedford, NH native was a third round selection of the San Jose Sharks in the 2015 NHL Draft. Robinson played last season with Lawrence Academy, but will be moving over to the USPHL Premier Division this season with the Junior Bruins, coached by former BC Eagle Pete Masters.

Robinson is expected to join the Wildcats for the 2016-17 season, but this injury might push those plans back a year if it halts his development. He's a prototypical, athletic modern era goaltender with significant upside.
