Shattuck-St. Mary's '99-born forward Austin Pratt is expected to sign with the Red Deer Rebels of the WHL tomorrow according to a report from a Red Deer radio station:
Rebels 4th round selection from the 2014 Bantam Draft, Austin Pratt, will be here Friday from Minnesota to sign with the club #rebelshockey

Pratt, a 6-3 power forward that played for the national championship-winning Shattuck-St. Mary's U16 squad this season, scored 20 goals and 32 assists for the Sabres this season. The Lakeville, Minnesota native was selected to participate in the USA NTDP Evaluation Camp last month, and likely would have been a highly-regarded college hockey prospect if he had chosen that route. Though as we mentioned in our WHL Draft Preview last summer, Pratt was considered very likely to choose the WHL route.
