Waterloo(USHL) Blackhawks forward Brock Boeser, a potential first round draft pick and one of the top uncommitted recruits for next season has chosen to commit to North Dakota:
Really excited to play college hockey at the University of North Dakota. Can't wait to call this place home! #sioux pic.twitter.com/TaSgLypiiW

Boeser had originally committed to Wisconsin, but chose not sign a Letter of Intent with the Badgers this fall after Wisconsin got off to a dreadful start.
Boeser was rumored to be deciding between North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and later in the process, Minnesota Duluth. Minnesota was rumored to be the heavy favorite for Boeser with Boeser playing with a pair of Gopher commits, Tom Novak and Tyler Sheehy in Waterloo this year.
Boeser is projected as a potential first round draft choice in this year's NHL Draft. He was ranked 28th among North American skaters in the NHL Central Scouting Mid-term Draft rankings. Meanwhile, TSN draft analyst Craig Button ranked Boeser 15th overall in his most recent draft rankings.
