Belmont Hill junior forward Christian O'Neill verbally committed to play college hockey for Ron Fogarty at Princeton University, the player announced via Twitter.

The Westwood, Mass. native had seven goals and 15 assists as a sophomore last winter as Jeremiah McCarthy's team made it all the way to the prep title game for the Large School Tournament.

A left shot '98, O'Neill is a versatile, complete player. His size doesn't pop out at you, but he's a strong skater and is difficult to knock off pucks. He skates well and can play all three forward positions. He's not a flashy player, but he makes good passes in the offensive zone. He has good vision and above average hockey IQ.

Princeton had been pursuing him for a while as had several other ECAC Hockey and Atlantic Hockey schools.
