National Bound Midget District Championship Seeds, Schedules Set

Seeding and schedules are now set for the 2015-16 Tier 1 Midget Major and Midget Minor District Championships for Massachusetts and New England. The winner from each district advances to the 2016 USA Hockey National Championship in San Jose, Calif. March 31-April 4.

For those unfamiliar with the midget landscape in the region, Massachusetts has its own district while the other five New England states compete in the New England District.

Midget Major (18U) and Midget Minor (16U) will take place at the Berkshire School in Sheffield, Mass. for the New England District while the Massachusetts District will play at the New England Sports Center in Marlboro, Mass.

'01 forward Patrick Moynihan is the leading scorer for the River Rats. A recent commit to Boston College, he'll be at Nobles playing prep hockey this winter. He's an exciting young talent.
