Eric Esposito, a rising-sophomore forward at Loomis-Chaffee, has verbally committed to play college hockey for Dick Umile at the University of New Hampshire, according to the player's twitter account.
I'm extremely excited and proud to announce my commitment to the University of New Hampshire #GoWildcats

Esposito had five goals and six assists in his rookie season for John Zavisza at the Windsor, Conn. prep school. The Pelicans captured the New England Prep Large School Championship this past winter, downing St. Paul's in the final game at Yale University.
A '98, he was profiled in this observer's prospects to watch for the 2014 USHL Futures Draft. The West Haven, Conn. native was pegged by the Youngstown Phantoms in the 16th round of the Phase II portion of the USHL Draft.
His older brother Alex, a rising-senior at Loomis-Chaffee, is committed to play college hockey at the University of Vermont for the 2016-17 season. Esposito will likely play another year or two of prep school hockey before heading west to play in the USHL.
