The Chicago Steel of the USHL announced today that forward Robby Jackson has committed to St. Cloud State.

Jackson himself tweeted the following:

Jackson is a '97-born forward originally from northern California. Two years ago, he moved to southern California to play for the Los Angeles Jr. Kings AAA team, and was drafted by Chicago Steel of the USHL. He made the Steel roster as a 16-year-old and had an outstanding rookie season in the USHL. He scored 28 goals and 14 assists for 42 points in 60 games, and was named the USHL's Rookie of the Year. Listed at 5'9" 165 lbs., Jackson is a smart two-way center with good scoring ability. He will most likely join the Huskies for the 2015-2016 season.
