Blaine(Minnesota) High School sophomore forward Riley Tufte announced via Twitter on Saturday evening that he has verbally committed to Minnesota-Duluth:

Tufte is a '98-born forward that stands at 6'4"x and is considered one of the top young power forwards in his age class. He recently participated in the USA Hockey NTDP Evaluation Camp, and reportedly was offered a spot on next year's NTDP U17 team.
This past season for Blaine, Tufte scored 17 goals and 18 assists in 25 regular season games for the Bengals. Tufte uses his big frame to protect the puck well, and has decent hands for a player of his size. While generously listed at 190 lbs., Tufte still has the potential to add some strength and become a more imposing physical presence.
Tufte joins what could turn into an impressive recruiting class for Minnesota-Duluth that already includes one of the top '98s in the country in fellow Minnesota high school star Joey Anderson.
