Norris is a '99-born forward currently playing for the Grizzlies U16 team. SBN College Hockey's Jeff Cox ranked Norris as the 61st-best forward at this summer's National Select 15 Festival. Here's what he had to say about Norris:
61. Joshua Norris (#16 White) 5-11/165 Oakland Junior Grizzlies - He exhibited nice speed and never stopped moving his feet the whole week. He also had a strong backhand.
Norris had two goals and five assists for seven points in his first four games of the season for the Grizzlies. Last year, as a Bantam for the Grizzlies, he tallied 11-14-25 in 28 league games.
Norris is the son of former Michigan State great Dwayne Norris, who scored 218 points in his four years with the Spartans, including 83 points in his senior season as alternate captain of the team. He went on to have a brief career in the NHL, and played a number of years professionally in Germany.
