Arizona State is making the move from ACHA club hockey to NCAA Division I next season, and has now picked up their first two college commitments.
The first is an Arizona native. Amarillo Bulls(NAHL) '94 forward Cody Gylling announced via Twitter that he has committed to the Sun Devils:
Excited to announce my commitment to play D1 Hockey at Arizona State University! Thank you everyone who has helped/supported me! #GoDevils

Gylling has scored 11-7-18 in 27 games with the Bulls this year.
The next commitment is former New Hampshire recruit Jordan Masters. Masters is another over-age recruit that committed to New Hampshire in the summer of 2011 while playing for Muskegon of the USHL. He struggled to score in the USHL and eventually moved to the BCHL, where he's been more successful scoring. He's averaged about a point per game in 1+ seasons of BCHL play.
