Brunswick School(CT) 1999-born defenseman Philip Kemp has committed to Brown, per a tweet from Providence Journal hockey writer Mark Divver:
Phil Kemp, '99 Brunswick School defenseman, is another great get for @BrownMensHockey . NTDP invited him to its game at BU last Sat.

SBN College Hockey's Jeff Cox ranked Kemp as the 11th-best defenseman at last summer's Select 15 Festival. Cox noted the high upside that the big defenseman has:
11. Philip Kemp (#2 Gold) 6-2/178 Mid Fairfield Yankees - He has a ton of raw talent that college coaches will surely be all over in the coming years. He's a big kid who made some nice looks with the puck.
Kemp is a sophomore at the Brunswick School this year, meaning he won't join the Bears until the 2017-2018 season at the earliest.
