Surrey Eagles Forward Braeden Russell Commits to Brown

Brown head coach Brendan Whittet received a verbal commitment from BCHL forward Braeden Russell.

Big power forward Braeden Russell has committed to Brown University. The '93 from Oakville, Ont. plays for the Surrey Eagles in the BCHL. Russell is off to a hot start this season with three goals and six assists in the first six games. The six-foot-three Russell played for the Oakville Blades in the OJHL from 2009-2012 before moving to the British Columbia Hockey League. Russell will arrive at Brown next fall.
