Big power forward Braeden Russell has committed to Brown University. The '93 from Oakville, Ont. plays for the Surrey Eagles in the BCHL. Russell is off to a hot start this season with three goals and six assists in the first six games. The six-foot-three Russell played for the Oakville Blades in the OJHL from 2009-2012 before moving to the British Columbia Hockey League. Russell will arrive at Brown next fall.
