Chicago Mission U16 AAA Midget forward Jason Dhooge has committed to Ohio State. The Sioux City Musketeers own his USHL rights and kept him on their affiliates list for the 2013-14 season. The Aurora, Ill. native had five goals and an assist in this summer's USA Hockey Select 16 Festival. He notched a hat trick in one of the games, and projects to be a skilled forward in college hockey. Dhooge, a '97, is expected to arrive at Ohio State in 2015 or 2016. His younger brother Sean, a '99, is also a very promising prospect.
Proud and honored to say that I have committed to Ohio State University and I can't wait to play my college career as a Buckeye!
