ECAC Recruiting: USNTDP Forward Michael Floodstrand Commits to Harvard

On the heels of a tremendous 2013 recruiting class, Harvard head coach Ted Donato received a commitment from talented forward Michael Floodstrand.

US National Team Development Program forward Michael Floodstrand has committed to Harvard University. The Hinsdale, Ill. native is in his first season with the program on the Under-17 Team. Floodstrand played for the Chicago Mission midget program last year. The small, speedy winger has three goals and an assist on the season. Floodstrand had a goal and two assists over five games in this summer's USA Hockey Select 16 Festival in Rochester, NY.

A '97, Floodstrand projects to arrive at Harvard in either 2015 or 2016. His USHL rights are owned by the Lincoln Stars who have Floodstrand on their affiliates list for the 2013-14 season.
