Fargo Force Forward Christian Cakebread Commits to North Dakota

North Dakota head coach Dave Hakstol landed one of the USHL's top performers in the first month of the season.

Fargo Force forward Christian Cakebread has turned his hot start in the USHL into a scholarship offer from the University of North Dakota. The Gilbert, Ariz. native committed to UND after an official visit over the weekend. Cakebread, a '97, has scored five goals in five USHL games, including the preseason. He came into the season as a relative unknown prospect having spent last season with the Arizona Bobcats midget program. Cakebreak is slated to begin playing for head coach Dave Hakstol's UND program in 2015.
