Fargo Force forward Christian Cakebread has turned his hot start in the USHL into a scholarship offer from the University of North Dakota. The Gilbert, Ariz. native committed to UND after an official visit over the weekend. Cakebread, a '97, has scored five goals in five USHL games, including the preseason. He came into the season as a relative unknown prospect having spent last season with the Arizona Bobcats midget program. Cakebreak is slated to begin playing for head coach Dave Hakstol's UND program in 2015.
