Honeybaked forward Mitchell Lewandowski has verbally committed to play college hockey for the Michigan State Spartans. The Clarkston, Mich. native took to twitter on Monday to announce his decision.

Lewandowski is a left-shot forward who put up impressive offensive numbers in bantam play last year for the very successful Honeybaked program. He is scheduled to arrive in East Lansing for the fall of 2016. Lewandowski took part in the 2013 USA Hockey Select-15 Festival where he put up gaudy offensive numbers. He tallied six goals and four assists in five games played. USA Hockey listed him as five-foot-eight and 152lbs.
