Seamus Donohue, a '96 born high school junior defenseman that plays for St. Thomas Academy in Minnesota announced tonight via Twitter that he has committed to play college hockey at the Air Force Academy:
Proud and excited to announce I've committed to playing my college hockey at the United States Air Force Academy #Falcons
— Seamus Donohue (@lildonny17) September 12, 2013
Donohue is a big recruiting victory for the Falcons. He was one of the few 10th graders selected to play in the Upper Midwest Elite League last season, and is returning to the league again this fall. He was also selected to skate at the National Select 17 Festival this past summer in New York. Donohue is a responsible, puck-moving defenseman with above average skating ability. His USHL rights are held by Cedar Rapids.
