Penticton Vees rookie forward Ben Dalpe had a good opening week to the British Columbia Hockey League season. He was named the BCHL Player of the Week and has now committed to playing college hockey at Clarkson University. Dalpe had four assists in the first two games of the season, playing along side North Dakota recruit Ryan Gropp.
Golden Knights head coach Casey Jones is picking up a skilled forward who had a very good outing at the recently concluded BCHL Showcase. Dalpe played for the Pembroke Lumber Kings in the CCHL the past two seasons. A native of Paris, Ontario, Dalpe is expected to arrive in Potsdam for the 2014-15 season.
