Lane Bauer, a '96 born forward from Anchorage, Alaska who had previously been committed to Alaska-Fairbanks, has been participating in training camp with the Edmonton Oil Kings of the Western Hockey League this past week.
On Tuesday, Bauer tweeted the following:
Proud to be an Oil King.

The Oil Kings have yet to officially announce the signing, but multiple sources have confirmed that Bauer will be a member of the Oil Kings this upcoming season, negating his NCAA eligibility.
Playing at the Midget Major level in Alaska last season, Bauer stayed under the radar a bit, but he is regarded as a very talented natural goal scorer that could put himself on the NHL Draft radar, despite being relatively small at 5'11" with a very strong season.
