Wisconsin Recruit Christian Dvorak to Sign with London of OHL

Wisconsin loses a top forward recruit to the OHL.

SB Nation's Andy Johnson is reporting tonight via Twitter (@AndyJohnsonB5Q) that a pair of independent sources have confirmed that 2014 Wisconsin recruit Christian Dvorak will sign with the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League, forgoing his college eligibility.

Dvorak is a '96-born forward that played last season with the Chicago Mission Midget Major AAA program. One of the fastest skaters in his age group, and a talented scorer, we had Dvorak ranked as an 'A' prospect in our initial 2014 NHL Draft rankings.

The loss is a double whammy for the Badgers in that they were already extremely thin on forwards for the 2014-2015 season, and Dvorak was one of the few players already committed to the Badgers that would have been able to join them next season. The Badger coaching staff will have a lot of holes to fill in their lineup this upcoming year on the recruiting trail.
