Karch Bachman announced Monday he would play his college hockey at Miami University. The Wolcottville, Ind. native played this past season for Culver Academy. The left-shot center notched 14 goals and added 14 assists in 25 games for the Indiana prep school. Bachman's speed and tenacity are his biggest attributes.
Bachman played the previous season with the Belle Tire Bantam AAA program. The 1997-born Bachman has his OHL rights owned by the Barrie Colts. The Tri-City Storm own his USHL rights.
