Forward Danny Lopez has reopened his recruitment after de-committing from Harvard. The Barrington Hills, Ill. native tallied 19 goals and 23 assists in 44 games played last season for the Jersey Hitmen in the Eastern Junior Hockey League (EJHL).
The former Team Illinois midget program prospect was slated to play for Ted Donato at Harvard, but will be playing another year of juniors before heading to college. The six-foot-three Lopez is a strong, powerful forward who was drafted by the Chicago Steel in the 2012 USHL Draft.
