Minnetonka Alum Erik Baskin Commits to Air Force

Erik Baskin will play his college hockey in the Atlantic Hockey Association at Air Force.

Minnetonka alum Erik Baskin has committed to play college hockey at Air Force for head coach Frank Serratore. The 2012 graduate of Minnetonka High School is in his second season with the Aberdeen Wings in the North American Hockey League (NAHL). Baskin has five goals and three assists in 11 games this season. He finished last season with 15 goals and 10 assists in 57 games played.

Baskin, a big, rangy forward played on a terrific high school team with a lot of big names, including Minnesota freshman Vinni Lettieri, Minnesota recruit Jack Ramsey, St. Louis Blues draft pick Tommy Vannelli, Colorado College freshman Sam Rothstein and Minnesota State recruit Max Coatta,
