Colorado Native Evan Ritt Commits to Denver

First year Denver head coach Jim Montgomery has picked up a commitment from a local product.

Playing college hockey at the University of Denver will be dream come true for a local boy from Lakewood, Colo. Jersey Hitmen forward Evan Ritt has pledged his commitment to Pioneers head coach Jim Montgomery. The 1993-born prospect will arrive at Denver in the fall as a recruited walk-on. Ritt played last season in the NAHL with the Jamestown Ironmen.

Ritt has one goal and four assists in 14 games played this season in his first season in the newly formed USPHL Premier Division. The five-foot-11 Ritt projects as an energy line forward with the ability to be a solid penalty killer.
