Brian Bowen has parlayed his good start to the season into a scholarship offer with the University of Vermont. The Jr. Bruins forward has verbally committed to play college hockey for Kevin Sneddon. The Littleton, Mass. native is in his first season with the Jr. Bruins playing in the newly formed USPHL Premier Division. Bowen, a power forward, is tied for 12th in the league scoring race with teammate and Providence commit Bryan Lemos. Bowen has 11 goals and eight assists so far this season for Pete Masters' team.
