Canisius has picked up a key commitment from Toronto Lakeshore Patriots forward Matt McLeod. The '96 from North York, Ont. will arrive at Canisius in the fall of 2015 after playing two more seasons in the Ontario Junior Hockey League. McLeod has a goal and two assists in six games so far this season.
Ontario-based scout Sean LaFortune described McLeod in glowing terms on his twitter account this afternoon.
McLeod is a high pace forward, blistering speed. One of the better 96's in Midget last year. Was strong at the recent OJHL Showcase.
