Wisconsin junior forward Jedd Soleway will miss tonight's game against Alaska after being suspended one game by the Big Ten.
Soleway, who has 7 points (4G-3A) in 22 games, was called for checking from behind with 1:43 remaining in Friday's game. He was given a game misconduct penalty as well.
Soleway is the third Badger this week to receive supplemental discipline. Wisconsin was already without senior defenseman Eddie Wittchow, who was given a three-game suspension for his open-ice hit on Minnesota's Tommy Novak. Aidan Cavallini missed last night's 4-3 win over the Nanooks due to his one-game suspension. He'll be eligible to return for tonight's game.
