Michigan State Suspends Two Freshmen Indefinitely

Michigan State head coach Tom Anastos announced on Tuesday that a pair of freshmen, Dylan Pavelek and Carson Gatt have been suspended indefinitely. No futher details were given on the nature of the suspensions.

Gatt, a defenseman, has played in 27 of Michigan State's 28 games this season, tallying three assists. Pavelek, a forward, has appeared in 20 games for the Spartans and has yet to register a point.

Michigan State currently sits tied for third place in the Big Ten, two points behind both Michigan and Minnesota for the conference lead. The Spartans travel to Minnesota this coming weekend for a Thursday-Friday series against the Gophers.
