Michigan made their first trip to the home rink of an ECAC school since 1988 this past weekend. On Friday night, they pulled out a 5-5 tie against Union with a tying goal in the final minute of the game. On Saturday, the Wolverines headed to Schenectady, New York, where they tallied a 5-2 win over RPI in front of a sellout crowd of 4646 at Houston Field House. Michigan was paced by three goals from their third line of freshmen Brendan Warren and Cooper Marody and sophomore Tony Calderone, as well as two goals from junior Tyler Motte.
