For the final time in 2014-15, all six teams are in non-conference action this weekend.

Ohio State (4-7-1, 0-0-0-0 Big Ten) travels to South Bend, Indiana for the 5th annual Shillelagh Tournament with old CCHA foes Western Michigan, Notre Dame and defending national champion Union. Michigan (5-6-0, 1-1-0-0 Big Ten) hosts RPI for two games. Still looking for its first win, Wisconsin (0-8-0, 0-0-0-0 Big Ten) begins an 8 game homestand at Kohl Center with a series against Ferris State.

Minnesota (7-3-0, 0-0-0-0 Big Ten), Penn State (7-3-2, 1-1-0-0 Big Ten) and Michigan State (4-7-0, 1-1-0-0 Big Ten) all will be spending Thanksgiving weekend on the East Coast. The Gophers travel to Boston for games against Boston College and Northeastern. Michigan State is going to Princeton for two games at Hobey Baker Rink. It will be the first time a Big Ten team has visited Princeton since 1950.

Penn State and Cornell, meanwhile, face off Saturday in the 2014 Frozen Apple at Madison Square Garden.

This weekend in addition to non-conference play is the final two games of the second annual Big Ten/Hockey East Challenge. With only Minnesota's games Friday and Saturday remaining, the Big Ten leads the 20 game series 22-20. Teams receive 2 points for a win and 1 point for a tie with an additional given for a road victory.
