Former Miami Red Hawk defenseman Michael Findorff has been hired to fill one of two vacant assistant coaching positions on the men's hockey staff at Niagara University.
Findorff, who played for MU from 2005-2009, had most recently served as an assistant coach at Utica College. Head coach Dave Burkholder is having to replace both assistants from this past year. Tim Madsen left to become the head coach of the Minnesota Wilderness in the NAHL and Eddie Olczyk, Jr. took the same post at Bemidji State.
