Bentley University has added former Boston University star defenseman Chris Dyment to the hockey team's coaching staff.

The Reading, Mass. native has spent the past two seasons as the head coach of the New Hampshire Junior Monarchs' USPHL Elite Team. Dyment replaces Matt Curley, who left to take a position with Red Bull Salzburg, a team in Austria.

Dyment capped off a terrific four-year career at BU by captaining the 2001-2002 team. Dyment had 20 goals and 53 assists in 142 career games in a Terrier uniform. He had a six year minor pro career that spanned the AHL, ECHL and Europe.
