Atlantic Hockey commissioner Robert DeGregorio announced the suspensions of two league players on Tuesday afternoon. Both one-game bans were levied under the discretion of the league's Supplemental Discipline policy.
Niagara junior Matt Dineen was suspended one game due to an infraction that occurred against Air Force last Friday. The defenseman from Newmarket, Ontario received a five minute major and game disqualification for checking from behind. He sat out Saturday's game against AFA as part of the automatic one-game ban for the game disqualification. Additionally he will miss this Friday's game at North Dakota.
Holy Cross freshman Matt Scarth has also received a one-game ban due to a high sticking infraction committed in his team's game against Canisius on Saturday night. The forward from Calgary, Alberta native will miss Friday's game at Mercyhurst.
