#1 Star

Jason Torf - Following a rough weekend in Alaska, the Air Force senior goaltender bounced back beautifully this weekend. The Hermosa Beach, Calif. native stopped 59 of 62 for a .952 save percentage in his team's weekend sweep of Penn State. Torf will be the driving force behind coach Frank Serratore's team this season.

Cole Gunner - Junior forward Cole Gunner had a hand in the game-winning goal each night as Air Force swept Penn State in a weekend series in Colorado Springs. Gunner scored the game-winner Saturday after assisting on Chad Demers' game-winner Friday. In total, the Richfield, Minn. native had two goals and two assists on the weekend.

Matthew Zay - Mercyhurst lost two of three on the week, but the junior forward from Glendale, NY had a good week individually. Zay had two goals and an assist on the week as the Lakers lost to Ferris State and split a road series at Merrimack.
