Hockey Canada announced a 46-player roster for their 2021 World Juniors roster selection camp on Thursday. With the Canadian Hockey League not playing games due to the coronavirus pandemic, the camp is scheduled to go for 28 days from November 16 to December 13, with the selected roster then entering the WJC Tournament Bubble in Edmonton.

Four players currently on NCAA rosters have been selected for the camp. They are:

Devon Levi, Goalie, Northeastern

Owen Power, Defenseman, Michigan

Dylan Holloway, Forward, Wisconsin

Alex Newhook, Forward, Boston College

The Big Ten and Hockey East have not officially announced schedules yet, though the Big Ten has announced November 13 as an earliest possible start date. It’s still unclear what schedules will look like, or even if the Big Ten will be able to go forward with hockey games by that start date, but that is potentially a big loss for both Michigan and Wisconsin if Owen Power and Dylan Holloway will be unavailable to start the season.

The same goes for Levi, who projects as Northeastern’s starting goalie this year, and Newhook, though Hockey East has not announced any specific dates for a start time yet.
