2018 NHL Central Scouting Final Rankings

Just ahead of the final check at the World U18 Championships and Junior A playoffs, NHL Central Scouting has released their final set of rankings for the 2018 NHL Draft.

Here are the rankings.

Swedish defenseman Rasmus Dahlin remains the overwhelming favorite to be selected first overall in the draft, and heads up the European skater rankings.

Former Muskegon Lumberjack Andrei Svechnikov is the top-ranked North American skater. Boston University forward Brady Tkachuk moved ahead of QMJHL forward Filip Zadina and is now ranked second among North American skaters.

Other players with NCAA ties ranked in roughly first round territory include Michigan’s Quinn Hughes(6th), wandering talent Oliver Wahlstrom(7th), BU commit Joel Farabee(12th), Michigan commit Bode Wilde(17th), Western Michigan commit Mattias Samuelsson(21st), Wisconsin commit K’Andre Miller(23rd), and Minnesota commit Blake McLaughlin(24th)
