Wisconsin head coach Tony Granato will be the head coach for the United States at the 2018 Olympic Winter Games, as first reported by SB Nation College Hockey.
Granato, who represented the U.S. at the 1988 games, will be assisted by Chris Chelios, Keith Allain and Scott Young.
Granato is entering his second season as the head coach at his alma mater following stints as a head coach and assistant coach in the NHL with the Colorado Avalanche, Pittsburgh Penguins and Detroit Red Wings.
